Axolotl Coloring Pages (21 free printables)
Axolotls are the smiling salamanders that kids can't get enough of — feathery gills, tiny hands and a permanent grin. These free axolotl coloring pages are printable PDFs for US Letter and A4 paper.
The collection runs from big, simple axolotls for preschoolers, through kawaii axolotls with donuts, ice cream and boba tea, to underwater scenes, an aquarium with a castle, an axolotl astronaut and seasonal pumpkin and snow pages. Older kids and adults can try the realistic axolotl or the mandala axolotl.

Tips for coloring axolotls
- Real axolotls come in pink (leucistic), gold, black and wild green-brown — try a different one on each page.
- Use a lighter shade on the belly and a darker one on the gills to make them pop.
- Blue and green colored pencils layered together make great water for the pond and coral scenes.
- The kawaii pages look great with pastel markers and a few glitter-gel highlights.
